- HSDPA/HSUPA quadband capable of 7.2 Mbps.
- Front facing camera with video calling named FaceTime. Must be over WiFi. Can switch between front and rear cameras. Portrait and landscape supported. No setup, costs, etc.
- 5 mega pixel camera with a backside illuminated sensor, 5x digital zoom, tap to focus, LED flash.
- HD video at 720P at 30 frames per second, LED flash can stay on while recording. Can edit directly on phone with Apple’s iMovie app.
- Dual mics, 802.11n, WiFi, GPS, compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope
- Gyroscrope matched with accelerometer allows for 6 axis of motion sensing.
- Built in antenna system to increase network coverage for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, UMTS, GSM.
- Operating system renamed iOS 4. Over 1500 developer API’s, 100 new user features including multitasking, folders, retina display integration, mail enhancements, and more.
- iBook store added to iPhone and iPod Touch. PDF’s stored on shelves. Sync’s automatically with places, notes, bookmarks, across all devices.
- iAds enabled July 1st.
